Update from the Weekend,system issue has been Resolved!!

1. We noticed system issues on the weekend, what happened?
Late last week, we had reports of unauthorized access to user accounts and the theft of Credits. The team responded on Friday evening and worked through to late Saturday night to investigate the problem. A patch was implemented late Saturday night.

2. When will the WAP site be restored?
We’re doing a full review of the systems and the WAP site is temporarily not available whilst we increase our security. We will restore secure access to the WAP site shortly.
You can access mig33 safely and securely via our mobile application and the website.

3. Is my account safe at mig33?
Yes, your account is safe.
As good practice, we recommend that you follow some simple guidelines:
• Change your password weekly and do not share your password or user information with anyone else.
• Please remember, mig33 will never ask for your username, password or account details.
• Avoid downloading and using third party applications that are not provided by mig33 at m.mig33.com. Sometimes other applications can contain bad codes and content which can result in unauthorized access to your account. If you are unsure, please email contact@mig33.com
• Do not click on links that are sent to you by users you do not trust, as these links may direct you to a website that may also result in unauthorized access to your account.

4. Were other accounts affected by the system issues?
Unfortunately the system issues affected a few hundred accounts. We are currently investigating those accounts, and any unauthorized activity is being dealt with. If you find that your account has been affected, please contact us immediately contact@mig33.com.
We take unauthorized activity very seriously, and we expect to complete our investigations very shortly.

5. What if credits in my account have been affected?
For customers and merchants who have been affected, your credits will be refunded and all unauthorized activity will be reversed. If you find that your account has been affected, please contact us immediately at contact@mig33.com
6. What happens if I’m a merchant and my account has been temporarily suspended?
For some merchants who have been affected, their account may have been temporarily suspended during our investigations for their own protection.
All unauthorized activity will be reversed and as we conclude our investigations, your account will be released and your credits refunded. If you have more questions, please email merchant@mig33.com

7. Did v4.3 cause these system issues?
No. These system issues were an isolated incident that happened over the dates of the 27/28th August. This is not related to the new v4.3 that was released.

8. What should we do to keep our accounts secure?
